WWE will sometimes release a few Superstars after WrestleMania. This year was no different and it happened on April 15th.

Last year WWE announced sweeping cuts across the company. The pandemic was given as the reason for those cuts. They also released a number of Superstars. It looks like April 15th came with releases once again this year.

We previously reported that Mickie James, Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Kalisto, Bo Dallas, Mojo Rawley, and Wesley Blake have been released.

The company’s website posted very short write-up about the releases where they said:

WWE has come to terms on a release of Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Kalisto, Bo Dallas, Mojo Rawley, and Wesley Blake as of today April 15, 2021.

We will have to wait until next year to see if WWE releases another crop of Superstars. April 15th is seemingly becoming an annual day for cuts in WWE as they continue marking record profits.

As of this writing, it seems that they are done with the releases today. We will let you know if that changes.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
