WWE’s WrestleMania 37 event will be a two-night spectacle, but the card is looking a little light right now.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon finalized the Mania card this week. The information backstage is hard to come by, so he might have a major ace up his sleeve. It appears that he will be missing some big players.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer seemingly confirmed that we won’t see Goldberg and Brock Lesnar this year. At least, they aren’t booked yet. He also namedropped The Undertaker, but he wasn’t really expected after his Final Farewell at Survivor Series.

“No Goldberg, no Undertaker, no Lesnar. So, you’ve taken some of the biggest attractions off and Edge does not replace them. We’ve seen that. He just doesn’t. Edge looks old. Edge is gonna get a lot of criticism.”

John Cena also can’t make it, even though he was previously thought to be involve, because he’s shooting the Peacemaker series for HBO Max.

Edge’s new gimmick is that he has grit. He will certainly show that at WrestleMania as he squares off against Roman Reigns. WWE still has a few weeks to book a big match for WrestleMania that nobody sees coming, but it appears that they are on the road to the show of shows without those huge names on board.
