WWE had big plans for Lars Sullivan, but now he is a free agent.

PW Insider reports that WWE released Lars Sullivan and he is no longer with the company. The company has not publicly announced this yet.

Sullivan was brought onto the WWE main roster with a WrestleMania program in mind with John Cena, but an anxiety attack caused a change of plans. Then he sat at home for months.

The Freak returned to action, but he was injured shortly after that. His recovery from injury took far longer than anyone expected at first. During this time, his previous stint in the adult entertainment industry was uncovered.

Sullivan did return to WWE where he cut a few backstage interview segments and squashed some people in the ring. Then he vanished.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Lars Sullivan was no longer showing up to the ThunderDome for SmackDown tapings. Now is is no longer under contract. We will have to see what’s next for Sullivan, but his time in WWE is over.
