Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode were teaming prior to the pandemic, but then Roode had to stay home in Canada for a very long time. The team was traded to RAW in the process, and now they are getting a spotlight on SmackDown.

Ziggler and Roode haven’t officially been given a team name in WWE just yet. That is apparently about to change. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the “Dirty Dawgs” shirts that Roode and Ziggler have been wearing will be the team’s new name.

Roode & Ziggler’s tag team is going to be called the Dirty Dawgs and they came out this week with T-shirts with that name on it

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are in line for a SmackDown Tag Team Title match on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. We will have to see if The Street Profits retain their championships, but they will have to get through the Dirty Dawgs first.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
