AEW has two weekly programs as of this writing. Dynamite, the company’s flagship show, airs on TNT every Wednesday night. AEW Dark is their YouTube show, generally consisting of talent who are still learning. Konnan thinks those performers on Dynamite could use some work too.

While speaking to Lucha Libre Online, Konnan said that most of the wrestlers on AEW Dynamite should be on the company’s B-Show. He also wondered why they have nothing interesting or important for the former LAX, a team Konnan was very involved with in Impact Wrestling.

“Two things that I always say. Number one: Most of the guys who are wrestling in Dynamite, they should be in AEW Dark. Number two: How come you have nothing interesting, nothing important for LAX (Santana and Ortiz), Rey Fénix, Pentagón Jr., Jack Evans and Angélico? And I’m not saying this because they were in Mexico, but because they are f*cking great and ready for television.”

Konnan also discussed some of the “rookie mistakes” that AEW has made in their booking of Sting. Obviously, he has a lot of ideas for All Elite Wrestling. Konnan has appeared on AEW Dynamite in recent memory. He showed up when the Inner Circle went to Las Vegas. AEW cut all of the marijuana jokes from the segment. Maybe Konnan would also suggest that they leave those in next time.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
