Why WWE Changed Big E’s TLC Plans

WWE had plans for TLC, but they held off on one of those big moments. They had a very good reason for not pulling the trigger on Big E’s Intercontinental Title match during the company’s final pay-per-view of 2020. WARNING This article contains SPOILERS.

Ringside News asked around about why WWE held off on Big E vs Sami Zayn. The original plan was to have that match at TLC.

WWE held another match during the Christmas episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan vs Jey Uso, that was also previously planned for the TLC pay-per-view.
