Pat Patterson’s passing at the age of 79-years-old affected so many around the world. Kevin Owens dropped very heartfelt video about Patterson’s influence on his own career, and how truly kind he was. Mick Foley saw the kindness of Patterson on many occasions as well.

Mick Foley dropped a tweet to remember Patterson when he heard of his passing. He loved listening to Patterson stories, and Foley regards Pat as one of the greatest to lace up a pair of wrestling boots.

I just heard the terrible news about the passing of Pat Patterson. I loved the man. I could listen to his stories for hours. One of the all-time great wrestlers, one of the best minds in the business, and a dear friend.

Pat Patterson is gone, but he will never be forgotten. Most did not realize he was sick and reportedly in the hospital battling cancer prior to his death. We will never forget the lasting impact he had on the pro wrestling business. Mick Foley will never forget those stories either.

RIP Pat Patterson

H Jenkins

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
