Sasha Banks and Bayley’s story took a major spotlight during the summer as WWE trudged through pandemic shows in the WWE Performance Center with no crowd. They brought that angle to the ThunderDome where Banks concluded things at Hell in a Cell to become SmackDown Women’s Champion. She can’t wait for the fresh matches coming her way.

Carmella stepped up to Sasha Banks first. The Boss has already stated that it would only take one second to defeat Carmella. After all, Banks also stated that her name is bigger than title.

While speaking to WWE The Bump, Banks discussed the fresh matches coming her way on the blue brand. She can’t wait to face as many people as she can as champion because things are certainly different for her now.

“I’m excited. I cannot wait to wrestle girls like Carmella, Bianca [Belair], Liv Morgan — I don’t think I’ve ever had a singles match with her. There’s so many and Natalya — we’ve never gotten to do much. These are all fresh matchups — Ruby Riott, I’ve only had a little taste on SmackDown and that was back in the day and I’m so different now.”

“Slow down, take your time. I want to face all of you, but you’re not going to win. We can wrestle, we can fight, we can throw it down. I’m so excited because it’s something new for me. I need something fresh. When you’re at the top you need something to chase and all I want to do is chase these other girls who are all awesome. We have the best Women’s Division in the whole entire world and I’m excited to do something different other than stab someone in the back and hit them and say ‘hey fight me!’ No, fight me like a woman. I’m ready. That’s why I’m the champion. That’s why I’m the best. I don’t have to say it any more than I am.”

Sasha Banks is set to face Asuka at Survivor Series, but neither champion’s title will be on the line. Banks has a lot of women likely getting in line to face her on the blue brand, and she seems very excited to take on all challengers while WWE keeps that title around her waist.
