Cody Rhodes Discusses What He Wants For Cover Of AEW Console Video Game

AEW Games announced three projects, and fans are very excited about what is to come. Yuke’s is developing their console game, the very same company responsible for so many incredible wrestling titles including No Mercy. There is still a big question of who AEW will choose to feature on the cover.

During AEW Unrestricted, Cody Rhodes discussed AEW Games’ upcoming release. He said that he would love to be on the cover of the game, but if he’s not then there’s always the next year.

“I would love to be on the cover of the game, I would. If you tell me that Kenny [Omega] is on the cover of the game, cool. Maybe next year. It’s a goal for next year, it’s like the PWI 500.”

Cody said he’s not going to “bury” anyone to get the cover spot. This was followed by him saying “I know we’re going to put everyone on the cover anyway because we’re way too generous with it comes to poster space.”

He said that Brandi Rhodes wants everyone to be on the cover as well. Cody thinks that they should limit it to “four or five people because that gives them a goal like I want to be on the cover next time.”

We’ll have to see what AEW cooks up with their upcoming video game. The trailer looked impressive so far, and it will likely have a cover to match. In the end, the cover can provide even more motivation to achieve the most possible in the company.
