Jey Uso is Roman Reigns’ indentured servant on SmackDown after losing at Hell in a Cell. This led to Jey Uso turning full heel at the apparent influence of The Tribal Chief. Daniel Bryan paid dearly for it in the process.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Daniel Bryan’s beatdown happened for a reason. He is slated for a major angle down the line, and it will likely involve the Universal Tile.

While speaking with Kayla Braxton, Jey Uso said he’s sorry for that attack on Daniel Bryan. It had to be done because Bryan was simply in his way.

“If this is how it’s gotta be, then this is how it’s gotta be. It’s a shark-eat-shark world that we live in professional wrestling. They know what it is, man. There’s no friends. He said it… and if I’m going to stick with somebody through this whole journey, through this game to get me through, man, it has gotta be my family, even though I do not like it. Like I said, Daniel Bryan, I’m sorry, Brie, I’m sorry. I’m sorry to everybody that had to see that live. If y’all keep testing me, this is what you’re going to get.”

Jey Uso is certainly a more centered Superstar at this stage in his career. We’ll have to see what’s next for him, but this continued push for Uce secure him a spot on team SmackDown at Survivor Series.
