WWE’s Plan For Erik Of Viking Raiders While Ivar Is Injured

The Viking Raiders are out of commission for a long time after Ivar’s injury. WWE might have given fans a sign of what to expect for Erik as we wait for Ivar’s return.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon doesn’t like booking tag team partners when the other is injured. Erik was used this week on RAW in a very quick match which might signify the kind of attention fans should expect him to receive for a while.

They likely won’t have Erik sit at home for the entire year that Ivar will be out of action. In that case “they’ll just job the other [healthy tag team partner] out.”

You can never say never about Vince McMahon suddenly seeing a singles push for Erik, but it’s not happening so soon.
