New Details On Thunder Rosa’s Deal With AEW

Thunder Rosa is the NWA Women’s World Champion. The idea came to Kenny Omega to bring her in to face Hikaru Shida at All Out, and Tony Khan was able to make that happen after calling Billy Corgan. Rosa will be back on Dynamite next week when everyone supposed she was done with the company.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that Thunder Rosa is currently under a per night deal with AEW. There is no contract keeping her employed with the company.

The fact that Rosa is defending the NWA Women’s World Title on Dynamite is very interesting. It is unheard of in today’s wrestling for this kind of thing to happen, except in very rare occasions.

Thunder Rosa had a lot to say about her brief time in AEW. She said that AEW doesn’t have anyone like her. She also spoke about she showed the AEW women’s roster how one should look while training.

Rosa is also not done in the MMA world. She is currently contracted for 3 more fights with Combate Americas.
