WWE’s invading masked faction of NXT Superstars known as Retribution will get Fridays off from now on. The stable showed up on Monday to break up a tag team match, but their absence from SmackDown last week was no accident.
John Pollock of PostWrestling reports that Retribution will now be exclusive to the RAW brand. This means that Superstars on the blue brand can breathe a sigh of relief.
Ringside News exclusively reported why WWE didn’t write Retribution into the Payback pay-per-view. It simply didn’t fit the story of the event to have one of the matches broken up by a masked army of Superstars.
At this time, we are still uncertain who is under those Retribution masks. We have a very good idea, but anything can change in WWE and nothing is definite until their identities are revealed.
