Seth Rollins had a match with Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam, but he didn’t forget how that feud got started. The Monday Night Messiah had very special ring attire made for him at the biggest party of the summer.

Seth Rollins’ ring attire for SummerSlam was purple and looked very familiar for some fans. It should if they were also fans of WCW. That entrance gear mirrored Rey Mysterio’s famous purple ring attire.
Mysterio was wearing that purple attire when he took on Eddie Guerrero at 1997’s Halloween Havoc. It obviously made a mark on Seth Rollins as he brought it back 23 years later.
Rollins took off his vest to work the match, but the full outfit was a clear tribute/dig at Rey Mysterio.
