Bruce Prichard was put in control of Raw and SmackDown when Paul Heyman was ousted. A new rumor started that Shane McMahon is now in consideration to take over the red brand. How much truth is there to that?

Shane-O-Mac was brought back to WWE television so he could host the Raw Underground segments. That is a fun spot for him, but he’s not gunning for a significant role in creative.

Bodyslam.net reports that they have received word from someone incredibly close to the situation backstage in WWE. There is no truth to the rumor at all that Shane McMahon is stepping in for Prichard.

I reached out to my sources about this report, and was told flat out by somebody close to the situation that there is “No truth to the report of Bruce backing away from Raw and Shane taking over..”

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
