Stephanie Vaquer and Myles Borne have fans wondering if their relationship is over. The two WWE stars have unfollowed each other on social media and apparently removed the public traces of their relationship along with it.
Vaquer and Borne are no longer following each other on Instagram. That’s not all, because all the photos featuring each other have disappeared from their respective accounts, along with comments they previously left on each other’s posts.
That includes comments Vaquer left when Borne won the NXT Tag Team Championship and became a double champion. Those interactions had been some of the more public signs of their relationship, but they now appear to be gone as well.
Naturally, that has led to speculation that Vaquer and Borne may no longer be together. There is one pretty important thing to keep in mind, though. Neither Vaquer nor Borne has said that they have broken up, so the social media changes alone aren’t confirmation of a split.
It is still a big change considering Borne had only recently opened up about their relationship. Speaking with Denise Salcedo, Borne revealed that he and Vaquer knew there was something between them pretty early on. The problem was that he was too nervous to actually talk to her.
“You know, honestly, when we first saw each other, we noticed. And then, for the first couple of weeks, we knew we liked each other, but I would try to build up the courage to talk to her.”
Borne was apparently so nervous around Vaquer that he once saw her while heading toward catering, turned around and decided he would rather go hungry than have to figure out what to say to her.
“And as soon as we crossed paths, I’d go the opposite direction—I promise, every time. And she noticed it. And I remember one time we were backstage, and I was coming in through one door to go to catering, and she was coming through another door, and as our paths intersected, I turned back around and walked out. I didn’t even eat. Eventually she gave me no choice. She messaged me and said, ‘Hey, let’s hang out. Let’s go have dinner.’”
That was then. Now the photos, comments and even the mutual follows are disappearing. Maybe there’s an explanation that has nothing to do with a breakup, but fans obviously noticed when two people who had publicly acknowledged their relationship suddenly stopped acknowledging each other online. Until Vaquer or Borne actually addresses it, though, nobody knows for sure what happened.
