WWE didn’t allow masks inside their television tapings for weeks. Things changed in a big way when an outbreak of COVID-19 broke out backstage. Now they are taking the situation very seriously.

PW Insider reports that WWE is now issuing fines for not wearing masks inside the Performance Center. These aren’t small fines either.

Superstars in the crowd caught not wearing a mask will have a $500 fine handed down for their first violation. Any repeated offenses will receive a $1,000 fine.

This is a far cry from Kevin Dunn yelling at people and having them take off their masks. Fans were once told that if they want to wear a mask then they’re not a fan. Now WWE is fining their Superstars for not complying with mask orders.

Rik Bugez received a lot of flack for taking his mask off during the show this week. This will likely make sure that the WWE Performance Center crowd keeps their masks on at all times.
