WWE didn’t allow fans to wear masks this week. Vince McMahon reportedly didn’t want to see them in the crowd. This is interesting because WWE sells official masks.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that he’s talked to Superstars who say that WWE’s policy against masks in the crowd is irresponsible. Still, he also noted that Superstars have never appeared on camera wearing protective face masks.

Stephanie McMahon previously stated that WWE’s measures to protect against the novel coronavirus are “overkill.” That quote didn’t age very well.
