WWE hasn’t had live fans in the crowd for a very long time. The crowd had WWE NXT Superstars in past weeks. This week they allowed a few select fans in the building.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that he thinks WWE is going to try and invite select fans into the tapings. It appears that is what WWE did.

A Reddit user named Dr Teeth 33 said that he was asked by a wrestler friend if he would like to attend the tapings. He turned down the offer.

A wrestler friend reached out to me this morning to ask if I wanted to attend the RAW taping. Filming is underway now. The crowd will be much smaller than your usual NXT crowds but it will be nice to see real fans back.

It appears that some people took WWE up on their offer. You can see in the footage below that WWE did have some fans in the crowd who were not NXT Superstars.

WWE hopes to be running shows with fans on a regular basis by August. At this point, it is still a wait and see kind of situation. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
