WWE had a lot of plans for 2020 that aren’t happening now. The novel coronavirus has put a stop to a lot of things that fans were looking forward to. This is not the best news for Australian fans.

WWE’s local Australian and New Zealand promoter TEG Dainty released a statement concerning WWE’s next tour in August. It’s not happening now, but they will reschedule when it is possible to do so.

To the WWE Universe of Australia and New Zealand,

We thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work with WWE to secure our new return dates.

The superstars of Monday Night RAW can’t wait to get back and put on one hell of a show for you in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

In the meantime, let’s keep safe, look after each other and we’ll be back with new details very soon.

TEG Dainty.

It’s unclear when WWE will be able to tour again. Vince McMahon made a comment that WWE might not be in the live event business anymore after the COVID-19 pandemic. Business as usual might have to develop into a new normal. Hopefully, WWE will be able to make it back to Australia as soon as possible.
