Rusev hasn’t been on WWE television in recent weeks. He still hasn’t signed a new WWE contract and the company reportedly pulled him for that reason. He is set to return to the ring in Saudi Arabia.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the fact that Rusev is in the gauntlet match in Saudi Arabia should be taken as no sign that he signed a new contract. He still has “plenty of time” before his current contract is up.

Rusev being announced for the show is not a sign that his contract issues are settled, but he still has plenty of time left on his current deal.

Lana did re-sign with WWE. She will be around for five more year and millions of dollars are coming her way. The last we heard about Rusev he was still hammering out the details of his deal. The Bulgarian Brute hasn’t signed a new contract, but he’s going to Saudi Arabia anyway.
