Corey Graves sent out a tweet about Mauro Ranallo’s commentary at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. He intended on this to be a storyline jab at Ranallo to set up Survivor Series, but that is not how Mauro took the comment.

Graves did apologize on his After The Bell podcast, but the damage was obviously already done. Dave Meltzer commented on this during Wrestling Observer Radio where he said that this is a bad situation and it is day by day at this juncture.

It was also revealed that Corey Graves might not have apologized to Mauro Ranallo because he didn’t have an opportunity to do so. He did say he was sorry to Frank Shamrock who is a man that really didn’t like what Graves said either.

“Well, that I do know is he did apologize to Frank Shamrock. He may not have had a chance [to apologize to Mauro Ranallo] at this stage.”

We will have to see how this situation turns out. The Bi-Polar Rock n Roller has made no secret about the fact that he suffers from mental illness. Hopefully, everything will be okay eventually, but it was certainly enough to cause Mauro Ranallo to miss NXT this week.
