WWE made history as they held the first-ever women’s wrestling match in Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel. Now that they’ve opened that door it doesn’t appear that they will be stopping.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that it is in question how many women’s wrestling matches WWE will continue to hold at future Saudi Arabian events. They will “no doubt” be holding at least one match per show.

They will no doubt have at least one [women’s] match at every show, but whether they would bring an entire crew, like they did with the men, is an unknown.

We’ll have to see how many women’s matches WWE can put on a Saudi Arabia card. It was a big moment for WWE and Saudi Arabia, but it’s a very safe bet that WWE won’t be holding an Evolution style event in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia any time soon.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
