WWE was promoting a new Firefly Fun House segment throughout Raw this week. They didn’t get around to it until the last two minutes of the show. Little did fans realize it might have been Wyatt’s last performance with his puppet friends.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the ending of Raw and the ramifications if could have on Wyatt’s character moving forward on SmackDown.

“I just figured it was their way of writing it off which surprised me because I wouldn’t have thought that they wanted to write that off, but they did. I guess they don’t want it on SmackDown and Wyatt’s going to SmackDown and that was a way of writing him off Raw and yeah.”

It’s hard to believe that WWE wouldn’t insist on carrying on with the Firefly Fun House. After all, they have puppets made that they are still selling at WWE’s official shop. It seems that FOX wanted Bray Wyatt, but their sports-centric programming might not have catered to his puppet friends.
