AEW will debut on TNT starting on October 2nd. The name of their upcoming television show will be revealed soon enough, but we do know that their first show will take place in Washington, DC.

Cody Rhodes recently held a little Twitter Q&A where there were some really good questions asked. One fan wanted to know why AEW decided on Washington DC for their first show and The American Nightmare had a simple, yet honest answer.

“Big and beautiful arena, nation’s capital…”

Washington, DC is also in an area where there are plenty of people around who would love to make a drive to see AEW’s first television show. Wednesday nights might present an issue eventfully when it comes to packing arenas, but we’ll just have to wait and see where they decide to play as All Elite Wrestling continues.
