WWE Extreme Rules is coming up on July 14th and the company is stacking the biggest show they can to bring Philly fans to the show. The two-for-one ticket deal didn’t hurt things either.

Ever since he was called over to SmackDown Live, Aleister Black has only been featured in dark backstage segments where he talked about wanting someone to pick a fight with him. Now we are supposed to finally find out who is picking fight with Black first this Tuesday on SmackDown Live.

Wrestle Votes reports that Cesaro was WWE’s original plan for Aleister Black’s opponent. However, with the new creative influences in play, you never know if WWE could switch that plan around.

I’m told Cesaro was the original planned opponent for Aleister Black for Extreme Rules and in fact he may still be. This was however prior to Heyman & Bischoff coming back into the fold. No idea if they want something else instead. We will see.

Just the fact that so many people are expecting Cesaro to knock on Aleister Black’s door might lead the company to switch things around. Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff are both pretty savvy to what fans want to see and they also read the rumor mills.

We will have to wait and see what happens next, but it is also important to note that this might not even be an Eric Bischoff decision because he’s not supposed to fully take on his new position until after Extreme Rules.
