WWE RAW this week felt different in a lot of ways and Paul Heyman’s fingerprints were all over the program. However, that might not be the case for SmackDown Live tonight with Eric Bischoff as the new Executive Director.

John Pollock of Post Wrestling reports that SmackDown tonight is going to run a lot like Raw did yesterday. Vince McMahon and Ryan Ward are reportedly expected to run the show with Eric Bischoff being around as well, but it’s unknown how much input Bischoff is going to have right away.

Bischoff will be at the show tonight, but he’s actually not slated to start until the SmackDown Live after WWE Extreme Rules. So fans might see some Eric Bischoff ideas being implemented a little here and there, but his first official start date is reportedly July 16th.

We previously reported that Eric Bischoff is moving across the country for this new job in WWE and really starting from scratch. He is very excited for this new opportunity, but he’ll be very busy in the process.
