The Undertaker returned to Raw this week and plenty of people were surprised to see him take out Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. Now we know what match he returned for.

It is pretty much widely thought, and somewhat confirmed that WWE needed a ratings boost. Therefore, Vince McMahon called The Undertaker. After all, The Dead Man can’t be happy about how his last match went down at the WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.
They booked The Undertaker to team with Roman Reigns against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at WWE Extreme Rules. This match will take place in Philadelphia, PA on July 14th.
It’s unclear if The Undertaker will be making anymore Raw appearances during the continuation of the build for Extreme Rules, but WWE could definitely use him around.
