The Young Bucks successfully defended the AAA Tag Team Titles at AEW Double Or Nothing against Pentagon Jr. and Fenix. However, the two teams met in Mexico on Sunday night and things had a much different result.

The Lucha Bros defeated The Young Bucks for the AAA World Tag Team Titles after a lengthy match that really had the crowd going. If you remember The Young Bucks’ title win in AAA didn’t get the best response because the fans weren’t sure who the Jackson Brothers were. This time they were much more aware.

The match went down at AAA’s Verano de Escandalo event in Merida. The Lucha Bros had their sights set on regaining the AAA World Tag Team Titles and they got the job done.

The match saw its finish after Matt Jackson took a Penta Driver and the clean loss. However, since both teams are likely to be mixing it up in AEW down the line the book is probably far from closed between those two teams.
