WWE is going through quite an interesting time right now. Their ratings are kind of tanking and it seems to be an “all hands on deck” situation to pull things up. However, the company is also transitioning lot of people backstage too.

Vince McMahon is still the leader of it all. He isn’t planning on retiring any time soon either. This is something that Triple H might not like to hear.

While recently speaking to Variety, McMahon made a very interesting statement when asked if he would be willing to sell WWE. Needless to say, he could have elaborated on it a bit more.

‘We’re open for business,’ McMahon says when pressed on whether he’d consider selling all or a partial stake in WWE. He declines to elaborate.

We previously reported that George Barrios didn’t seem to reject the idea of selling the company when he was recently asked about it either. It would take a lot of money to separate the reins of WWE from Vince McMahon’s 73-year-old hands, but it could provide another exciting chapter in the company’s history depending on who was willing to fork over the dough.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
