Tessa Blanchard is one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world, but she isn’t with WWE. The company had a golden opportunity to sign her after the Mae Young Classic, but it didn’t happen. Fans have wondered why since she ended up signing with Impact Wrestling instead.

Blanchard was even a stunt double on the Fighting With My Family film filling in for the role of Paige when Florence Pugh couldn’t take the bumps.

There was a rumor going around in 2017 that Tessa Blanchard was removed from the WWE Performance Center. It was said to be a scene possibly around her boyfriend at the time Ricochet at the WWE PC which resulted in Tessa Blanchard being ejected.

Tessa Blanchard has now replied to this rumor which she denies. You can check out her response here.

We have heard a lot of versions of this story, but the specifics are not 100% clear. However, Sean Sapp touched on this rumor briefly during Fightful Select’s Q&A where he stated that he had heard this story as well.

It was during the time in Tessa’s life where she was dating Ricochet and he had just signed on with NXT. She was fresh off of the MYC so Tessa was there at the PC as well working out and such.

Then this rumor busted out about her getting kicked out of the PC after causing a scene. It’s unknown if Tessa Blanchard’s relationship with WWE has smoothed over, but she’s doing fine on her own and with Impact Wrestling right now.

“Tessa had some attitude issues before this. I think she was kicked out of the PC at one point. I think when she was dating Ricochet, but there are a lot of people who I think would be best served not signing with WWE because a lot of these specialized shows and a lot of these indie shows are going to need big names.”

Tessa Blanchard reportedly signed multi-year deal with Impact Wrestling last year. It was also said that her deal was for two years at the time. Sapp also noted that Blanchard very likely has a binding contract with Women Of Wrestling where she works as a trainer and an on-air talent.

Blanchard has commented about her previous attitude issues in interviews and has been working to overcome them as she continues her own path to become the best wrestler she can be. It has been working too because Blanchard continues to perform in the ring at a high level every time.

It is unfortunate that Tessa Blanchard apparently had a behavioral problem before that resulted in her not getting a spot in WWE. Her match against Kairi Sane in the Mae Young Classic was a stand-out performance, but she has since seen plenty of success on the indies and with Impact Wrestling.
