Former NJPW Champion Makes WWE NXT Debut

WWE added a Superstar with a lot of potential when they signed six-time IWPG Junior Heavyweight Champion Kushida. He was rumored to have signed with NXT a while ago, but they made it official today.

Kushida was spotted in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: New York after his signing was shown on the screen. The crowd in Brooklyn popped hard for Kushida and as he took it all in you could tell he was having fun already.

This guy can do a lot and hopefully, WWE will make good use of him. He achieved a ton in NJPW with a Marty McFly inspired gimmick. We’ll just have to wait and see if they will let him keep the orange vest in NXT.

If anything, he looked good in that coat and hat at TakeOver.
