All Elite Wrestling already has a roster of talent, but there are going to be even more signing up with the new venture. AEW Vice President Cody Rhodes was recently asked by TMZ about interest in bringing in UFC fighters and he didn’t seem to shut it down.

Professional wrestling takes a lot of passion and Cody remarked that it is a tough business. UFC fighters are already dedicated and know how to concentrate on a craft, so it sounds like a “cool little cross-over” to him.

“That might be a fun challenge. I think something like that if they have the passion for wrestling then it really works out. That’s one of my big knocks is that you can’t teach passion. So as long as somebody is passionate about it and knows it’s kinda a hard gig which those guys already bust their ass I can imagine that could be a cool little cross-over.”

Only time will tell if one day WWE and AEW could be talking to the same crop of UFC stars interested in having a go at professional wrestling. AEW is still in their very early stages so that will be a long ways off if it does end up taking place.

There are plenty of people out there who could be a great fit with the new promotion. Double Or Nothing is their next big show and then they could have a television deal to follow. So there are more prudent things to worry about for All Elite Wrestling right now other than bringing in a name from the UFC with minimal professional wrestling training.
