The Young Bucks are one of the hottest acts in pro wrestling today. They are commanding top dollar amounts and they apparently had the security to turn down huge deals from WWE.
Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling are throwing a huge event at Madison Square Garden during WrestleMania weekend. It could have been enough to even make WWE move their NXT TakeOver: New York event to another night, but they’d never admit to that.
One thing fans were wondering about the MSG show is whether the Young Bucks will be there. Since they recently said goodbye to Ring Of Honor, it seemed doubtful, but some fans were still holding out hope.
Then Matt Jackson made it very clear today on Twitter that they will not be at the event. However, they are still encouraging anyone who can make it to the show to do so.
“We will not be there, but I encourage everyone to still go. It’s a historic night for wrestling,” Jackson confirmed on Twitter.
So if you have tickets to the already soldout MSG show, don’t worry because it will still be a great time. The Young Bucks just won’t be on the card.
