Lars Sullivan is on his way up to the main roster and WWE is planning a monster push for the NXT newcomer. They are running vignettes to hype his arrival and it seems like they’re going to carry on full steam ahead.
Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite audio that in spite of WWE’s booking problem of not having any big names on the current roster, at least they’re bringing up Sullivan. Although it won’t be a cure-all, at least WWE is making some efforts to mend the talent pool issue.
“WWE is bringing up Lars Sullivan and they’re doing a story now where you know the two sides are bidding for him I guess, so they’re trying. It’s always a process nothing’s ever gonna be perfect.”
If I were a betting man Lars Sullivan is going to leave a lot of broken bodies in his wake on a weekly basis once he gets settled in. But it’s what they do with a monster after their first loss that really helps tell whether or not they can stand the test of time. As for Lars Sullivan, it’s a waiting game at this point.
