WWE Hall Of Famer Reportedly Confirmed For SmackDown 1000

SmackDown’s 1000th episode is coming up soon and as we count down the days until October 23rd’s big celebration of Blue Brand history, it looks like one huge name from the show’s past will be making the trip for the event.
PW Insider confirmed that Edge will be appearing on the SmackDown 1000th episode anniversary show. At this time there is no word on what kind of role The Rated R Superstar will play on the show, but his participation is sure to be an entertaining one.
It seems like Edge and Christian are hotter than they have been since they retired thanks to their Pod Of Awesomeness and during his time, Edge was a part of many moments in SmackDown’s history that I’m sure WWE will be revisiting as the time comes closer to the big anniversary show.
WWE also reportedly wanted The Rock, which is something they’re apparently still working on. But The Great One just started filming new major motion picture this morning so that still seems to be up in the air. But at least Edge will be there.
