You never know when The Rock will show up next. After all, he is an incredibly busy guy and one of the most sought-after names on the planet when it comes to entertainment. Simply put: when The Rock is involved more people watch.
Joe Peisich said on a special news edition of the Barnburner Fired Up podcast said that WWE has some big plans for The Great One if they can pull it off.

“They are negotiating for October with The Rock about appearing on the SmackDown 1000 show on October 16h. Also, they want The Rock to appear at The Royal Rumble and finally at WrestleMania.”

It makes perfect sense that WWE would want The Rock back as often as they can nail him down. After all, they wanted him to be Ronda Rousey’s tag team partner at WrestleMania this year but they couldn’t work it out. Only time will tell if they can convince The Rock to work a little bit more if he can find the time.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
