170-pound interim UFC Champion Colby Covington lit up the latest episode of Submission Radio with inflammatory remarks about Nick Diaz, and challenged him to meet him at 170 pounds for a Title fight.

Covington, who didn’t hold back with his comments on the sensitive matter of domestic violence for which Nick Diaz is facing 3 felony charges and a misdemeanour charge, said that the elder Diaz brother is ” too busy getting drunk and hitting women in clubs” and that ” he ain’t got enough time for fighting no more.”

Covington also said that if and when Diaz did sort out his issues with the law, that he should consider a move to 170 pounds to face him for the Title.

Interim Champion Covington is currently expected to face lineal Champion Tyron Woodley for unifying the Welterweight crown, but reports of late suggest that the UFC may even go as far as stripping Covington if he doesn’t show up to fight on the company’s preferred timeline.
