The Royal Rumble event will take place on January 27th in Phoenix, Arizona. Tons of fans will flock to Chase Field to see the big event go down and kick off the Road To WrestleMania, but we might have an idea of what they’ll see already.
WWE fans are naturally excited about the Royal Rumble match because it could be a big sign of WWE’s actual direction with a roster that doesn’t include the man who Vince McMahon has earmarked since day one to be the face of the company in Roman Reigns. Therefore, fans want to know who is the most likely person to win the Royal Rumble match.
“I suppose Seth, right?” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio when asked who a frontrunner to win the 2019 Royal Rumble match might be.
It has been previously reported that Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar are expected to face each other at WrestleMania. If Lesnar is still the WWE Universal Champion at that point, it only stands to reason Seth Rollins would win the Royal Rumble match.
We have some time between now and then in case WWE wants to change their plans. Vince McMahon seems to be changing his mind even more frequently nowadays. Therefore you never really know what could happen next in WWE.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
