Larry “The Ax” Hennig Passes Away At 82-Years-Old

Larry Hennig , better known as Larry “The Ax” Hennig has passed away. We are deeply saddened by this news as he was a legend and patriarch of an amazing pro wrestling family.
PW Insider confirmed this sad news of Hennig’s passing. Details of his death are yet to be released.
Father of Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig and grandfather to Curtis Axel, Hennig blazed a trail through the 1960’s onward. He rose to fame in the AWA where he was an accomplished tag team wrestler as well as sigles competitor.
He was a great man and respected throughout the pro wrestling world. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hennig family and all of Larry’s friends and fans during this difficult time.
