Cris Cyborg and Ronda Rousey never had a chance to fight in the UFC for whatever reason. You can blame either side of the fence there or weight class issues, but the fact is it never went down.
Joe Peisich said on the Barnburner Fired Up podcast that while WWE is still considering Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey for WrestleMania, they could have another huge match-up that they’re also trying to arrange.

“WWE is in current negotiations with Cyborg to fight Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania.”

While this might be a tricky match to pull together, it doesn’t seem out of the question if UFC will let Cyborg wrestle. Of course, when Joe said “fight” he probably meant “wrestle” seeing that WWE wouldn’t want to run the risk of Rousey suffering some sort of awful MMA defeat, But it would be interesting seeing how there were rumors that WWE tried to bring Cyborg in for a match against Becky Lynch at last year’s Survivor Series but they couldn’t quite make it work.
