Triple H apparently skipped out on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live tapings to have dinner with Ronda Rousey in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the two were having dinner at the Republique restaurant and it appeared to be going pretty smooth. TMZ speculates WWE and Rousey are “one step closer” to sealing the deal. One WWE source told TMZ that it’s very unusual for Triple H to skip out on a SmackDown taping, as he’s on hand for everything.
As previously reported, Rousey has been rumored to be having a match at this year’s Wrestlemania against either Charlotte, Asuka or Stephanie McMahon. We will keep you updated if we hear about a deal being reached between WWE and Ronda.
