Jinder Mahal's Nakamura Promo Not Uploaded to WWE's YouTube Channel

Jinder Mahal’s Nakamura Promo Not Uploaded to WWE’s YouTube Channel

As seen on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal cut a promo that mocked Shinsuke Nakamura for being Japanese. At one point in the promo, Mahal said “you always rook the same.” Fans in attendance responded with “that’s too far” chant.

WWE apparently wasn’t a fan of this segment as it was not uploaded to the company’s YouTube channel. It will be interesting to see if they “forget” about this promo moving forward just like they did with Alexa Bliss“This Is Your Life” segment.

Here is footage from the segment uploaded to a non-WWE channel:

I’m sure whoever wrote /approved the segment is regretting it now

    • Erik Candelaria

possibly fired too, WWE better put the title on Naka or this would look pretty bad.

  • Melissa A. Klein

I was totally speechless and they want to make business and do business over in Asia this is not the way if they want to do New Japan Pro Wrestling this wasn’t the way

  • Kyle Barbosa

They didn’t upload it because they forgot society today is a bunch of butt hurt social justice warriors who can’t handle one fake promo

    • Joe

No, society is a bunch of racist disrespectful clowns like you who get off by talking tough behind a keyboard but could bust a grape in a fruit fight in real life

      • Kyle Barbosa

If this happened during the attitude era it’d be considered cool. Nowadays everyone is a bunch of pussies

        • Comrade C-attle

Says the guy getting all upset over other people getting upset. Hope your vag is okay.

          • Kyle Barbosa

            Wanna come lick it?

          • TheVoicz

I mean, until he fucks something underage, he’ll be fine : 3.

        • NoGoodMickey

Dude, that segment did go too far. If you don’t see that you aren’t a “cool attitude era” guy, you might just be racist or too stupid to see that times are progressing. You can call it whatever ignorant name you like so you can get that manly pat on the back you want so much but dude the “world nowadays” just wants everyone to get along. If that’s not “cool and manly” for you than you need to grow up. I don’t usually get real on here but people like you are seriously a bad taste in my mouth. What I consider a “pussy” is someone like you who talks a huge game about how cool you are for being ignorant instead of growing up and becoming a real member of society. The 80s were almost 40 years ago, are you just going to sit there and never grow out of that? Pathetic…

          • Kyle Barbosa

So I guess Owens telling Shane McMahon that his family would have been better off dead in a hellicopter crash makes him a good heel, but when Jinder does some racist remarks towards his challenger, you all freak out. You all are hypocritical, this is all fucking fake. None of it is real, and there are pussies like you people crying over it. ITS FAKE

          • NoGoodMickey

HA! Wow dude, YEAH that’s different. Shane McMahon can personally tell KO,”dude it’s fine, talk shit about my crash.” Every Japanese person can’t go to jinder and say it’s cool. THAT’S racism. But no, keep calling people pussies because you’re too dumb to understand everyday shit. Pathetic.

          • Shawn Puff

So what if Shinsuke said it was ok? Not saying he did, but just to play devil’s advocate, what if Shinsuke said it was ok for him to say that? Would it be wrong still? And if it would, would it be HIS fault for saying it was ok? Just to play devil’s advocate…

          • Kyle Barbosa

No because “shinuske has workrate”. Fans would cheer ANYTHING he says

          • NoGoodMickey

Who cares if shinsuke liked it or not? I said,”Every Japanese person can’t go to jinder and say it’s cool.” Read.

          • TheVoicz

He can’t read, but he’ll fuck the ever living shit out of some school boy pre-high school.

          • NoGoodMickey

            Haha!!

          • Kyle Barbosa

What about when JBL made fun of Eddie for being Mexican? Was that taking it too far? You know, like HEELS are suppose to do? But I forgot heels can’t be heels anymore cause god forbid one bad guy says a bad thing and you all bitch and cry on the internet about it, this is why this company is failing. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO BOOK ANYBODY BECAUSE YOU ALL DONT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

          • NoGoodMickey

Racism is bigger than a show. You’re an ignorant fool. Plenty of people can be heels and not racist.

          • Just a guy

Uhhhh, does Shane McMahon speak for all the families of aircraft crash victims? I know two people that lost loved ones in an airplane. I also know a friend of a friend who lost someone on one of the airplanes in 9/11. Racism isnt ok but neither is saying someones children would be better off if they died in a helicopter crash. People are pussies because they pick and chose what to be outraged over and it creates mob mentality.

          • NoGoodMickey

I understand where you’re coming from.

          • NoGoodMickey

And let me be clear. I don’t believe that jinder nor the writers are racist. I think they are just stupid to think that what was said wouldn’t be offensive. To say they are actually racist is a stronger term that I don’t believe belongs here but stupid or ignorant I think is the proper word.

          • TheVoicz

The underage kids you kidnap aren’t, you pedo fuck. : 3

        • Ortiz

I agree that it’s childish and dumb to get triggered over this being “racist”. That’s a such tired argument these days. Although if this was still the attitude ara, this promo would still be embarrassing for WWE with a terrible fan reaction — simply because of how BAD it was.

Even after watching notable attitude era promos in recent years (which many of are still incredibly funny to me), this Nakamura promo was one of the most unfunny, cringeworthy promos I’ve ever seen in my life. THAT is reason enough for WWE to desperately want to bury it.

          • Shawn Puff

Ok… So I can read and I did read. Note that I said, “Just to play devil’s advocate…”. Don’t get so triggered. … but you didn’t even answer my question. Reading is fundamental you know? So clearly you think it would still be wrong. But the question was would it be Shinsuke’s fault if they asked him and he said it was ok. That’s the question. It’s simple. Try again. Thanks.

          • NoGoodMickey

First off, guy, you didn’t even reply to ME. You aren’t the brightest so don’t act high and mighty. I didn’t answer you because the question was stupid. Of course one famous guy can’t speak for a whole race. Can kayne speak for all black people? Shut the fuck up with that dumb shit lmao

          • NoGoodMickey

I didn’t get triggered. I called an orange an orange. The guy calling people pussies got triggered. Am i fucking blind or the only smart person here?

    • TheVoicz

You couldn’t handle not fucking one underage kid, you pedo. : 3

  • Sinister Marketing®

Jinder was told to say that. Hope people Re smart enough to se that ?. Like I said, whoever wrote and approved the promo is probably regretting it now

  • Ortiz

How about… the Nakamura Promo was offensive not because of ethnic slurs, but because it was THAT unfunny, cringey?

And thus, incredibly embarrassing for WWE.

  • TheVoicz

Yet Vince has still gotten away with saying “Nigga” live on television, and nobody has been upset since.

    • Omar

Yep, a point I frequently remind others of as well. And that was also during the PG era.

As a black dude though, it’s nice that the masses are crying and being offended over an Asian/Japanese slur for once. Over the past couple years, I’ve grown tired pretty fucking tired of people being offended on *my* behalf 24/7 (at least whenever it’s not Hispanic immigrants and Arab Muslims). So since it *never* happens in the U.S. mainstream, it’s about time Asians get some fussing over.
