WrestleMania 42 will wrap up with WrestleMania Sunday, and it will carry the momentum that WrestleMania Saturday had. That’s why WWE has booked several solid matches that will keep fans entertained from start to finish.
Roman Reigns earned his opportunity by winning the 2026 Royal Rumble, but it was CM Punk who pushed him toward this exact fight. The two have been at each other’s throats since then, so it remains to be seen whether the OTC will walk out as the champion or whether Punk will somehow survive Reigns.
Rhea Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship in what’s expected to be a very physical bout. Jade has made it clear she won’t stop at anything to beat Ripley, while the Eradicator is determined to topple
This match is definitely a battle of the behemoths and so far, Oba Femi has the Beast Incarnate’s number. So it remains to be seen whether The Ruler will show the world he is better than Brock Lesnar once and for all.
“Demon” Finn Bálor will be duking it out with Dominik Mysterio. Penta will also defend the Intercontinental Title in a ladder match against Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Rusev and Rey Mysterio. Finally, Sami Zayn will defend the United States Championship against Trick Williams.

WrestleMania 42 Sunday will take place on April 19th, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The pre-show will begin at 3 PM ET and the main show will start at 6 PM ET. Fans in the US can watch the event on the ESPN app and internationally on Netflix.
