Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has told talents that they are looking at doing a weekly UK television show starting early next year.
WWE is currently trying to book some buildings as placeholders in case a television deal comes through. They were also looking at several individuals from the tryout held last week in Manchester for the project.
As previously reported, the working title for the UK television show was “King of the Ring.” It remains unknown if they still plan on using that name moving forward. WWE will keep you updated if more information for the UK show becomes available or an announcement is made by the company.
