WrestleMania 42 is getting a major stage shake-up—and it’s going to change how the entire show looks, especially when it comes to the pyro.
With construction already underway inside Allegiant Stadium ahead of the April 18 and 19 shows, a new report is revealing a major shift in how the stage will be structured—and how fans will be positioned.
According to PWInsider, WWE is changing its traditional setup in a big way by placing fans directly on the stage itself. It was noted that the pyrotechnics for WrestleMania 42 will come from behind the main stage, due to the fact that this year there will be fans seated on the stage itself.
That change alone alters how entrances and visuals will play out—but it doesn’t stop there. The report also outlines how the stage layout is being redesigned to accommodate those fans, as there will be seats on both sides of the stage, with an entrance aisle that will run through the center.
On top of that, the set itself is expected to feature additional structural elements that will frame the entrances and overall presentation, as there will be two large square columns on each side.
This setup marks a significant departure from the traditional WrestleMania stage, where the entire structure is usually reserved for production and entrances. By integrating fans directly into the stage area, WWE is clearly aiming for a different kind of visual presentation this year. With pyro being pushed behind the stage and fans now part of the backdrop, entrances could feel more immersive—and potentially more unpredictable—than in previous years.
