Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, airing October 31, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. WWE SmackDown Results (10/31/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with a view of Salt Lake City and the Delta Center as commentary welcomes us.

We then see Drew McIntyre inside the arena and the camera cuts to Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes walking backstage. We then see Nia Jax in the arena and the camera cuts to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. We then see Jade Cargill on her phone backstage and that takes us to last week’s SmackDown, where Cargill attacked WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton after her match.

Tiffany Stratton cuts in front of Corey Graves and Michael Cole to get in the ring because she has something to say. Tiffany says she has a bone to pick with Jade Cargill and she is not going to wait until tomorrow night. Nick Aldis then makes his way out and he tells Tiffany to think about this. Aldis then says you are cleared as tolerated. Aldis then says no physical contact before tomorrow’s match. Tiffany then asks Aldis if she cares what the doctors have to say after what happened last week. Tiffany then tells Jade to come out.

Jade’s music then hits and Aldis tells her there is no physical contact. Aldis then asks for security. Jade then says it is not that serious. Jade then says she is not going to do nothing. Jade then says she tasted her own blood a few weeks back and she wants that title. Jade then says tomorrow night Tiffy time is up. Tiffany then comes up the aisle and goes after Jade, but security stops Tiffany is in mid air and Jade backs up the aisle and Tiffany returns to the ring.

We then get a video package looking at WWE United States Champion Ilja Dragunov. Ilja says difficulties show. Ilja then says we walk through hell not to be consumed, but to be defined. Ilja then says suffering is the true test of life.

We then head to the back, where we see that R-Truth is dressed like Santa handing out candy to Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. They then ask Truth if he knows that it is Halloween, but Truth says they have the wrong month. Solo Sikoa then says the Machine Guns were talking trash about his family. Alex and Chris then say they are going after the tag titles. Solo then tells Harry Potter that his guys are next in line. Sabin then says they are next in line, so Solo says he will talk to Aldis about getting a match.

Ilja Dragunov then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Nathan Frazer follows. Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring and interrupts Frazer’s entrance. Tommaso says Ilja can’t give a title match to this nerd. Frazer and Ciampa then push each other and Ilja stops him. Ilja then says this challenge is for everyone, but Frazer is first and there are no rewards for jackasses.

WWE United States Championship Open Challenge Match: “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Fraxiom’s Nathan Frazer

The match starts off with Frazer hitting a jumping knee and some chops. Ilja then hits a forearm. Ilja then hits a chop and an Irish whip. Ilja then runs into a boot and Ilja blocks a thrust kick. Frazer then hits a thrust kick to send Ilja to the floor. Frazer then hits a suicide dive. Frazer then sends Ilja back into the ring and he goes up top, but Ilja stops Frazer and tries to press slam him and Frazer responds with some punches and he leaps over Ilja. Ilja then cinches in a waist lock and Frazer responds with some back elbows. Frazer then avoids a kick and Ilja responds with a chop. Ilja then hits another chop and he gets a near fall. Ilja then hits some knees to the head. Frazer then hits a punch, but Ilja responds with a forearm. Ilja then sends Frazer into the turnbuckles and chops him. Frazer then hits a cutter on the top rope and he goes for a springboard move, but Ilja moves so Frazer leaps back to the apron. Ilja then hits a jumping knee to send Frazer into the announce desk. Ilja then hits a German suplex on the floor.

Ilja then sends Frazer into the apron and back into the ring. Frazer then kicks Ilja and Ilja lifts Frazer from the ropes and Frazer lands on his feet and gets a near fall with a rollup. Ilja then gets a near fall. Ilja then hits a kick and a chop. Ilja then sends Frazer into the turnbuckles. Frazer then pushes Ilja away and Ilja kicks Frazer. Ilja then hits an Irish whip and a knee into the corner. Ilja then hits a running boot to the head in the corner. Both men then go to the floor. Ilja then sends Frazer into the apron and hits a choke slam onto the apron. Ilja then gets a near fall. Ilja then cinches in a side head lock. Ilja then hits a slam and a back senton for a near fall.

Ilja then hits some chops and some head butts. Ilja then hits a German suplex and he holds on to the waist lock. Ilja then hits a second German suplex and he holds on. Frazer then hits an elbow and he powers out of the hold for a moment. Ilja then hits a third German suplex, but Frazer lands on his feet. Ilja then goes for a Konstantin Special, but Frazer hits a springboard moonsault into a reverse DDT and a shooting star press for a near fall. Ilja and Frazer then exchange forearms. Ilja then hits a knee and a chop. Ilja then misses a back fist, but Frazer hits a thrust kick. Ilja then blocks a second thrust kick. Ilja then hits a back first and a kick. Ilja then hits a belly-to-back into an elevated forearm and a slam. Ilja then gets a near fall.

Ilja then goes up top and misses. Ilja then hits a chop and Frazer responds with a kick. Ilja then hits a chop and a knee. Ilja then misses a cross body and he goes over the top rope and to the floor. Frazer then goes for a springboard move, but Ilja hits a clothesline from the apron. Ilja then misses a back senton from the turnbuckles. Frazer then goes up top and he hits a frog splash for a near fall. Frazer then backs Ilja into the corner and he chops Ilja. Frazer then hits another chop. Ilja then hits an Irish whip and Ilja misses a splash into the corner. Frazer then hits a kick and a springboard drop kick for a near fall.

Frazer then hits some punches and he goes to the turnbuckles for a Phoenix Splash. Ilja then moves and Frazer over rotates to roll through. Ilja then hits some elbows to the clavicle followed by a suplex for a near fall. Ilja then hits some punches on Frazer followed by a head butt. Frazer then kicks Ilja a few times. Ilja then hits a kick on Frazer. Ilja then cinches in an abdominal stretch with elbows on Frazer. Ilja then sets up for a power bomb, but Frazer responds with some punches and he escapes. Frazer then hits a chop and he puts Ilja on the turnbuckles and follows it up with a kick.

Frazer then sets up for a Frankensteiner, but Ilja blocks it. Ilja then goes for a super power bomb, but Frazer counters it with a Frankensteiner that sends Ilja to the floor. Frazer then hits a suicide dive and a drop kick into the ring steps. Frazer then goes up top for the Phoenix Splash and he hits it for a near fall. Frazer then hits some punches on Ilja. Ilja then grabs Frazer’s ankle and Frazer hits more punches. Frazer then slaps Ilja and goes up top again. Ilja then goes up and crotches Frazer. Frazer then hits a back elbow to send Ilja to the mat. Ilja then chops Frazer in the back of the legs. Ilja then goes to the turnbuckles for a German superplex and he hits it. Ilja then gets gets a near fall. Ilja then hits some forearms and Ilja falls to the mat. Ilja then hits a forearm and a power bomb. Ilja then hits the H Bomb for the win.

After the match, both men show some respect by shaking hands and hugging. Tommaso Ciampa then shows up from behind and hits a running forearm to the back of Frazer’s head.

We then see some footage of Ciampa’s attack on Frazer. We then head to the back and we see Frazer and Ciampa fighting. WWE officials then try to break it up and Dragunov shows up. He then breaks it up and turns around to see Tama Tonga holding the United States Championship. Tonga then gives the title to Dragunov and walks away.

Kit Wilson then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Carmelo Hayes follows.

Singles Match: Carmelo Hayes vs. Kit Wilson

The match starts off with Kit throwing his jacket and he punches Hayes. Hayes then responds with some punches of his own on Kit. Kit then hits a thumb to the eye and a corkscrew back elbow. Kit then hits an uppercut into the corner. Kit then cinches in a Japanese stranglehold and he stomps on the back of the neck. Kit then hits a swinging DDT for a near fall. Kit then hits a European uppercut and cinches in a front face lock and hits some punches. Kit then goes for a suplex, but Hayes lands on his feet and he punches and chops Kit. Hayes then hits a springboard clothesline.

Hayes then hits the La Mistica. Hayes then hits a suplex into a cutter for a near fall. Kit then rolls to the floor. Hayes then hits a flip dive onto Kit. Miz then sends Hayes into the ring post when the referee was focusing on Kit. Kit then goes up top and he hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Kit then charges at Hayes and Hayes hits the First 48 for the win.

After the match, Hayes celebrates his win but Miz comes in from behind and he hits Hayes with the Skull Crushing Finale.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair and she congratulates them on their title defense on RAW. She then asks about the Kabuki Warriors. Alexa says if they have a problem with them, they know where they are. Flair then says she opened her life to Alexa and her life is better. Flair then says Nia Jax has not healed and that is why she doesn’t have any friends. Bliss then says tonight she will show Nia why she will out-do her.

We then head to another backstage area, where we see Sami Zayn in Nick Aldis’ office and Sami says he knows that he isn’t cleared. Sami then asks to be at ringside with the Machine Guns because of what will happen. Nick then says Sami is not cleared and it will only get worse with the MFTs. Nick then asks Sami to sit it out. Cody then shows up and he tells Sami he is proud of what he did with the U.S. Title. Sami then wishes Cody luck tomorrow. Nick then asks Cody if he had anything to do with the attack on Jacob Fatu. Cody then says no. Nick then shows Cody the contract and he asks if everything is good. Cody then says he knows everything is on the up and up, so Nick only has to show it to Drew. Cody then walks away.

Nia Jax then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Alexa Bliss follows with Charlotte Flair.

Singles Match: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss vs. “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax

The match starts off with Nia hitting a splash to the back. Nia then hits a head butt. Nia then hits an Irish whip and a splash into the corner. Nia then hits another Irish whip and splash. Nia then places Alexa on the turnbuckles and Alexa kicks Nia. Nia then hits an arm drag, but Alexa responds with a slap. Nia then screams and hits a body block. Nia then hits a head butt, but she misses an elbow drop. Nia then goes for a power bomb and Alexa tries to counter with a rana, but Nia holds on. Nia then sends Alexa shoulder first into the ring post, but misses a hip on the apron into the ring post. Alexa then drop kicks Nia off the apron and to the floor. Nia then catches Alexa off the apron and she hot shots Alexa and sends Alexa into the ringside barrier.

Alexa then hits some punches on Nia. Alexa then hits a drop kick, but Nia responds with a clothesline for a near fall. Nia then puts Alexa in the ropes and she stink faces the back of Alexa’s head. Nia then sends Alexa to the floor. Alexa then hits a few jaw breakers, but Nia responds with a head butt. Nia then hits a Million Dollar Dream. Nia then hits a splash into the corner and a running hip. Nia then goes for another one, but Alexa moves and Nia hits the turnbuckles. Alexa then hits a drop kick. Nia then sends Alexa to the floor and knocks her off the apron into Flair’s arms.

Alexa then drops Nia on the middle rope. Alexa then hits a punch, but Nia responds with an Irish whip and she gingerly moves into a boot in the corner. Alexa then hits a head scissors take down followed by some kicks. Alexa then hits some punches and a drop kick. Alexa then hits a cross body for a near fall. Nia then sends Alexa into the corner, but she misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Alexa then sends Nia to the mat and Alexa goes up top. Nia then hits a Samoan drop for a near fall. Nia then kicks Alexa on the floor and she pushes Flair away. Nia then sends Alexa back into the ring and Nia sets up for the aNIAlator. Flair then gets on the apron and Alexa kicks Nia in the back of the leg and hits a drop kick for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see Solo Sikoa and the rest of the MFTs walking and they see Rey Fenix. Solo. then asks him what does he want. Fenix then walks away and he comes back and says he wants a piece of Talla. Solo then says the match will happen next week and Fenix slaps Talla. Solo then tells Talla to focus on tonight.

Damian Priest then cuts a promo and he tells Aleister Black with everything he has done to him over the past few months, he should hate him but he doesn’t. Priest then says he doesn’t hate the sneak attacks or that he used his wife. Priest then says he does not hate that he set his face on fire. Priest then says his existence is personal to him. Priest then says you win and now it is personal to him. Priest then says you know what is coming. Priest then says you won’t know when and you won’t know how, but you will know why. Priest then says not even the devil himself will know. Priest then says you will feel his venom when punishment comes for him.

Commentary then runs through the card for WWE Saturday NIght’s Main Event.

We then head to the back, where Nick Aldis is with Tiffany Stratton and they talk about the match tomorrow night. Kiana James and Giulia then stop them and Kiana says Tiffany should have taken their offer. Giulia then says Tiffany won’t be able to speak after tomorrow night. Chelsea Green then shows up and says we are nine days away and Nick isn’t sure what she is talking about. Alba then says she wants justice. Green then says she demands a match. Giulia then says if she thinks she is a better champion than her then she can prove it. Nick then makes the match for next week. Green then turns around and sees Nikki Cross and she freaks out and runs away.

MFT then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Motor City Machine Guns follow.

Tag Team Match: MFT (Tama Tonga and JC Mateo) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin)

The match starts off with Shelley and JC. JC then hits some right hands. JC then goes for a splash, but Shelley kicks him in the face. Shelley then hits some chops to the chest. Sabin is then tagged in and they double team JC. Sabin then goes for the cover, but JC kicks out. Sabin then grabs JC, but JC sends him into the corner. Tama Tonga is then tagged in. Tama then hits some right hands followed by a side head lock. Sabin then goes to the ropes and Shelley tags himself in. They then double team Tonga and he is sent to the outside of the ring. JC is then knocked off the ring apron and the Motor City Machine Guns hit a cross body over the top rope.

Shelley then sends Tonga back in the ring, but Tonga responds with a right hand. Tonga then body slams Shelley. Tonga then goes to the ropes and Shelley hits a knee and Sabin is tagged in. They then double team Tonga. Shelley and Tonga are in the ring. Tonga then cinches in a head lock and JC is tagged in. Shelley then hits some right hands onto both men. Shelley then slams JC face first onto the second turnbuckle. Tama then tags himself in and Shelley kicks him away. Sabin is then tagged in and he hits a baseball slide onto JC who is on the outside of the ring. Sabin then climbs the top rope and hits a drop kick onto Tonga. JC then gets in the ring and Sabin hits a tornado DDT. Sabin then climbs the second rope and jumps, hitting a tornado DDT onto Tonga.

Sabin then goes for the cover, but Tonga kicks out. Shelley is then tagged in and Sabin hits a monkey flip. Tonga is then back to his feet and Shelley clotheslines him to the outside of the ring. Shelley then goes to the ropes. Sabin then tags himself in and Shelley hits a baseball slide onto Tonga. Sabin then hits a suicide dive onto the MFTs on the outside of the ring. Sabin then sends Tonga back into the ring. Solo then tells Talla Tonga to get them, but they kick him down. The Motor City Machine Guns then get in the ring and they double team Tonga with kicks. Solo then climbs the top rope and they go for Skull and Bones, but Tonga Loa pushes Shelley to the outside of the ring. Tonga then hits the Cut Throat onto Sabin for the win.

After the match, Talla hits a choke slam on Sabin while Loa kicks Alex. Rey Fenix then makes his way out and he kicks Talla from the apron and hits a springboard drop kick on Talla. Talla then hits a boot and Loa punches Rey. Shinsuke Nakamura’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring and he punches Loa. He then hits an elbow on Tama and a kick on Mateo. Talla then catches Nakamura off the turnbuckles and he hits a choke slam. The MFTs then get in the ring and celebrate.

We then head to the back, where Nick is in his office and he asks Drew if he looked at the contract and if there are any issues. Drew says there are no problems. Drew then says does Nick think he is going to go out there and say something he shouldn’t. Nick then says he does and Drew tells him not to worry about it and not let the job stress him out so much.

It is then announced that next week Rey Fenix faces Talla Tonga, Ilja Dragunov has another open challenge and Charlotte Flair faces Nia Jax.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis is in the ring with a table, chairs and a contract and he brings out Cody Rhodes. Cody then makes his way down to the ring and he wishes Salt Lake City a Happy Halloween. Nick then bring Drew McIntyre out and Drew McIntyre’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Nick then says there is only one thing to do and that is to sign on the line. Drew then says he cannot sign this. Cody then shows that he can sign a contract and he does it. Nick then tells Drew to give a reason why he will not sign it. Drew then says it is lopsided. Nick then says it is the standard contract so he tells Drew to sign it.

Drew then says no. Drew then asks what happens if Cody gets disqualified. Drew then says Cody keeps the title. Drew then says if he gets counted out, Cody keeps the title. Drew then says if Cody gets counted out or disqualified again, he keeps his title. Drew then says he will not sign the contract. Nick then tells Drew if he doesn’t want to sign it, he has had it with him. Nick then says there are tons of men back there who will gladly take his place and he will happily get someone to sign the contract and have a shot at Cody tomorrow night. Drew then tells Nick to get one of them. Cody then stops Drew and he tells him to sit down.

Drew then says this better be good. Cody then asks Drew what does he really want. Cody then says does he want a stipulation or clause added to the contract that says if he is disqualified or counted out, he loses the title. Drew then says yes. Cody then says he is 110 percent fine with that. Nick then tells Cody to think about it. Cody then says he does not want an easy way out. Drew then says he will sign the contract now. Nick then says he is not happy with that and Cody says we all need to end this so let it happen. Drew then tells Nick to do the right thing. Nick then gives the okay and Drew signs the contract.

Drew then says this is a happy moment for him and sad because they should be the best of friends after these 20 years. He then says he wrote the blueprint, which helped Cody finish the story and he just doesn’t like the way Cody goes about his business. He then says he represents corporate America and the fans cheer him every week. He then says Cody is the American Nightmare, but he does things the right way. Drew then says he works hard, tells the truth and he is from another country, but an American citizen. He then says he is the real American dream.

Cody then calls Drew dream and says Drew is glad that he continues to bring up their parallel past. He then says it is commendable. He then says Drew made a blueprint that people are still following, that he followed. He then says Drew went overseas and he wrestled in front of maybe 100 people and did it again because he loves it the way he does. He then says Drew became the Scottish Warrior and WWE had to call him back. He then says that is where their stories are different. He then says when Cody got fed up from WWE, he grew some balls and walked. He then says Drew got fired. Cody then tells him good luck for tomorrow and nice guys used to finish last and then he showed up.

Drew then gets up and says Cody won’t get the last word. He then says the truth is that Cody gives and gives and the fans take and take and one day, they will turn on Cody the way so many have turned on him. Drew then says Cody wears his suit to impress them, but what would be impressive is if Cody was with his lovely daughters trick or treating. Drew then asks Cody what their names were again and Cody slams Drew’s face onto the table. Cody then goes to hit Drew with the title, but Drew ducks under him and leaves the ring.

Nick is then talking to Cody, but in comes Drew and he hits Cody with the Claymore. Drew then grabs the Undisputed Championship and he places it on the chair. Drew then grabs Cody and he powerbombs him through the table. Drew and Nick are face to face and Drew laughs. Drew then grabs the championship and he tells Cody he will be the new Undisputed Champion. Drew then lifts the Undisputed Championship and gives it to Cody as SmackDown comes to a close.
