WWE is taking over Madison Square Garden on July 18, and the first betting odds for Saturday Night’s Main Event are already calling for one massive blowout and a potential title change.
BetOnline.ag has posted lines for the two matches currently announced. Danhausen is a ridiculous favorite over JD McDonagh, while Fatal Influence is expected to walk out of New York with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Danhausen is sitting at -4000 against McDonagh, who comes in as a huge +1000 underdog. That line leaves almost no doubt about who oddsmakers expect to win. A bettor would need to put down $4,000 on Danhausen to make a $100 profit. Meanwhile, a $100 bet on McDonagh would pay out $1,000 in profit if he pulls off the upset.
The women’s tag title match is much closer, but the champions are still walking into Madison Square Garden as underdogs. Paige and Brie Bella are listed at +200, while Fatal Influence is favored at -300. That means the betting line is leaning toward Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley taking the titles, even though Paige and Brie enter the show as champions.
Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, July 18. The show begins at 8:00 PM ET and will stream on Peacock in the United States.
The current betting odds are:
- Danhausen: -4000
- JD McDonagh: +1000
- Fatal Influence: -300
- Paige and Brie Bella: +200
WWE still has time to add more matches to the card, but the early odds already make Danhausen and Fatal Influence the names to watch at The Garden.
