After taking the Royal Rumble to Saudi Arabia this year, WWE is bringing one of its biggest events back home. The company has officially confirmed that the 2027 Royal Rumble will be held in Glendale, Arizona, at State Farm Stadium, marking the event’s return to the United States after this year’s international stop.
The announcement wasn’t made on WWE television. Instead, it came during a press conference where UFC President Dana White unveiled another major piece of TKO’s growing partnership with the Arizona Sports & Entertainment Alliance.
The 2027 Royal Rumble is one of seven major events included in the agreement announced earlier this year, which covers WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing and PBR. During the announcement, White made it clear that Arizona is about to land one of WWE’s biggest attractions.
“In February 2027, WWE will bring one of its biggest annual events to Arizona, the Royal Rumble. I can tell you this: WWE has a very passionate global fanbase, and we’re looking forward to bringing that buzz and economic impact here to Arizona.”
The confirmation ends any speculation about where the first major Premium Live Event on WWE’s 2027 calendar would take place. This year’s Royal Rumble made history by heading to Saudi Arabia, but that international experiment will be short-lived. Instead, WWE is bringing the event back to American soil as TKO continues rolling out its long-term partnership with Arizona.
The Royal Rumble has traditionally been one of WWE’s biggest box-office events every year, serving as the official kickoff to WrestleMania season while determining the main-event challengers for The Show of Shows. With Arizona now locked in as the host, fans can expect the road to WrestleMania 43 to begin in the United States once again, though WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia.
More details—including the exact venue, ticket information and official event date—are expected to be announced closer to February 2027.
