The November 3 episode of WWE Raw in Rio Rancho, New Mexico kicked off with a heavy-hitting opening—but behind the scenes, it caused chaos in the control room.

According to Bryan Alvarez, the segment featuring CM Punk, Logan Paul, and The Vision (Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed) went roughly ten minutes over its scheduled time, forcing WWE producers to scramble to adjust the rest of the show.

“Opening segment went approximately ten minutes long and they were scrambling,” Alvarez revealed.

The live segment began with new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk celebrating his title win over Jey Uso from Saturday Night’s Main Event. He ran through a list of potential challengers before being interrupted by the returning Logan Paul. That moment didn’t last long, as The Vision made their presence known. What followed was a brawl that saw Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker lay out both Punk and Paul—until the unlikely duo fought back, with Punk clearing the ring with a steel chair.

Although the segment created an electric start to the show, its extended runtime reportedly had ripple effects backstage, with producers needing to trim or speed up other portions of the show to stay on track

Live TV doesn’t always go as planned, and this is a reminder that even a scripted show like WWE Raw can be unpredictable—especially when CM Punk and Logan Paul are in the mix.
